The last several years of my life have been quite a journey. They’ve been some of the most challenging seasons I’ve faced—mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I’ve walked through deep valleys of pain and heartbreak, yet I’ve also been blessed with the indescribable joy, and responsibility, of raising two amazing, beautiful daughters.

I know the pain of the sudden death of a loved one, the ache of marital heartbreak, adandonment and disillusionment, and the wrestle of pursuing true healing. I know the pain and regret of running ahead of God, the consequences of presumption and the foolishness of compromise. My pillow has absorbed countless tears, but through it all, I’ve experienced God's comforting embrace, and witnessed Him move in extraordinary ways—not always how I expected, but always in ways that have strengthened my faith and drawn me closer to Him.

In this journey, I’ve learned how to resist the anxiety of disappointment and process unmet expectations, rejection, loneliness and insecurities in a healthier, God-centered way. I’ve come to see that even our deepest disappointments can serve as divine appointments—opportunities for our souls to encounter God in radical, transformative ways.

What’s always critical is that through it all, align with God: trust in His promise to work all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Being in alignment with God brings me peace. It reminds me that I am exactly where I need to be. God’s got me.

Every let down and disappointment I’ve experienced in the past few years has driven me closer to God, teaching me to rely on Him as my source. He has an amazing plan for me, and I’m filled with excitement and hope for what’s ahead.

I’ve come to a beautiful realization: in Christ, I am worthy; I am accepted; I am significant; and I am deeply, unfailingly loved. My prayer is that you, too, would embrace this truth. It’s not some lofty, unattainable ideology—it’s a life-changing reality. It’s my testimony. 

Friend, I don’t know what you may be going through right now or what challenges you’re facing, but I want to encourage you with this: you are not alone. God sees. God knows. And God redeems. All He asks is that you align with Him. Align with your identity in Christ. Seek Him and His righteousness, and He will take care of everything else.

Let us move forward together, with faith and purpose, to reach the destinies God has set before us. May we leave legacies that reflect His glory and advance His kingdom for generations to come.
